Zoyander Street is a neuroqueer and disabled artist, creating interactive media based on social and historical research. Their contributions at the arty fringe of indie games go back to 2011, and include documentary, critical writing, independent publishing, and original solo games projects. Zoyander recently completed a PhD by practice in Sociology at Lancaster University, submitting original videogames alongside a traditional dissertation. Intrapology is a large step towards their long-term vision of “ethnographic games”. Since 2021 Zoyander has been developing a practice in interactive theatre, and they are now one of Sheffield Theatres’ supported artists. Their work has been shown worldwide, including Tokyo, Berlin, Chicago, Vancouver, and London. - Fellow of the Imaginary College, Arizona State University Center for Science and the Imagination - PhD Sociology, Lancaster University - MA History of Design, V&A Museum / RCA - MA Japanese Studies, Cambridge University - Board of Directors, Critical Distance - Board of Trustees, NEoN Digital Arts
